For filing a trademark application with the Romanian Trademark Office, we need from you the following information and documents:

1. applicant’s name
2. applicant’s full address
3. list of goods and services (detailed)
5. priority information (if any) + certified priority document
6. clean copy of the device mark
7. duly signed Power of Attorney (no legalization necessary)

Within 1 month from the filing date the trademark application is examined in formal matters and receives an application no.

Normally, within 6 months, examination takes place and, if no older similar trademarks exist, the trademark is admitted for publication.

After payment of the publication fee, the trademark is published and, if no opposition is received within 3 months, the trademark will be registered.
